is how an honest cop is feeling right now.
(Please, if is not asking too much, could you write as a 'noir' story?)
On the night before the day in which the most anticipated trial in his town's history will begin, he is being coerced to steal and destroy the evidences and kidnap the witness against the mob boss that he spent years trying to arrest.
Somebody knew that he had a daughter born out of wedlock, and had delievered to his deslk an envelope with pictures of her bound and gagged and the customary treats.
He has six hours to steal the evidences and kidnap the gun moll and the innocent bystander that can put the man he hates so much behind bars forever. He knows that at least one of his coworkers is crooked (otherwise how could the envelope materialize in his desk?). He knows that even if he follows his 'orders' to the letter there are no guarantees that his daughter will see daylight alive (FAR FROM IT!!!).
He has to do something...
BUT WHAT???
