First of all may you have a merry Christmas and a great new year.
Second, I'm sorry for the lack of new stories but I hope to finish a few of them during my month-long vacations that starts today...
Lastly, here's my last suggestion for 2011:

A meek/mousy policewoman/constable is forced to do some 'desk job' while on suspension. By doing so she manages to 'connect the dots' and uncover a string of crimes that have been happening for the past four/five years:
One or two women are literally kidnapped 'off the streets' and pictures of their plight are used to force people to do something for their kidnappers. Since the kidnappings and their 'ransoms' happened at the same time but not in the same cities (or even states/regions) they were treated as different crimes or, when the connection between them was established, as isolated incidents.
The coplady realizes that everything was a patient gathering of data needed for one big 'job', but since her suspension is due to a BIG mess-up from her part no one believes her.
What she will do then?
What is this 'big job'?
Can she manage to prevent it gfrom happening, or will she become another vctim of it?
