After a couple of well planned 'jobs' fails and somebody else profits with his ideas, a leader of a gang of thieves hires the Plumbers in order to find out the leak that he believes that exists in his gang. Problem is that the leak doesn't knows that he or she is giving up information to another gang, so the leader of the gang has a plan for a revenge.
He reunites the gang and tells them about a plan he's been working on for years, a quite elaborated and dangerous one but that will bring them five times more than the failed job together, at the very least.
So in order to gather data for this heist offices and/or homes are broken in, a girl is kidnapped, vigilance is made upon certain people... all in vain since the leader of the gang knows that unless he solves a problem with his plan it will fail and whoever tries to pull it will land in jail immediately (hence the fact he never put the plan in motion).
But he does not disclose this to his gang so the other gang doesn't knows that...
- Does his plans for revenge works?
- While the other gang is doing the doomed plan, what will he and his gang will be really doing?
- What about the girl they have to kidnap (uselessly)?
PS: Of course, if you want to make the leader of the gang a 'she'...
