I do, as the board administrator, monitor new members and pay attention to where they have come from, or any websites they include in their profile. Given that, this is the one and final warning.
If ANYONE attempts to spam this board in any way, their IP servers will be banned from this board and their accounts deleted.

Given the time I've spent deleting spam messages over the last few days, I'm afraid I've had to change the board settings so that I activate any new accounts - and I promise you, I will check the details of all new applicants. If they raise warning bells in my mind, not only will the request be refused, the IP address will be banned from further applications.
Don't make me get the big stick out  |

I saw where the board was flooded with spam the other day. I'm glad you're on top of things and cleaned it up. Do people truly believe that these obnoxious tactics are the best way to promote their products?

Same principle as mass leafleting and spam e-mail. If you can hit thousands of homes, and only 1% respond, that's still hundreds of new clients. Annoying as hell - and not on my watch. |
